Baltimore City Pride 2018: Recap

June commences Pride month. During this month, the LGBT movement is recognized and celebrated across the nation. Baltimore City kicked of their Pride parade this past Friday with Twilight on the Terrace. It is an evening to celebrate the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Baltimore. This year marked the twelfth year since it started.

On Saturday an eleven-block procession started at N. Charles and 33rd Street. The Pride Block Party was in Station North Baltimore and started at 4 P.M. Other activities going on in the area included a high heel race, a pet parade and more. Taylor Bennet, Miami Tip & TT The Artist headlined for the day.

Sunday’s events included a Pride Festival in Druid Hill Park, celebrating families and children. Music, a drag stage, food trucks, local exhibitors, and entertainment stages where on the scene.
